I just got off a plane again...

This is what I wrote while I was on it:

A program where if you previously ask not to eat on the plane instead you can give up your meal for a starving person to have it. The planes that go to that area send the meals that ppl gave up for them there. Most ppl are just choosing chicken or pasta bc they are asked, not because they are hungry. Many of us leave most of the food behind which goes to waste time and time again bc "nobody likes airplane food" well, I'm sure somebody in need of a meal would love to have it.
All the unopened crackers and cheese! I went to a cafe in LA where the man cleaning up was throwing away the unopened butters! So frustrating.

I also finished my Chelsea Handler book called 'My Horizontal Life' was a great fast lil guilty pleasure of a read. She definitely exaggerates things to make them more entertaining. It was so silly omg. I think I could write a book like that myself that's why I flew right through it. Catching a plane home to Miami now!! I need a vacation from the vacation, like wow.

The shirt dress...

"Midnight in Paris" directed by Woody Allen had me thinking about them before I saw the stunning Emma Roberts in the 'All Saints' sleeveless shirt dress she wore a day out shopping but then I magically found a similar one by Miss Selfridge :) Loving this look for the month of August and its not going anywhere since its so wearable, chic, and polished for any day or night. Now you have to get yourself one! Share what u find! If not, you could always belt your boyfriends shirt with a pair of tights or leggings, add a turtle neck or scarf and your look is ready for the chilly days up north but it wont look quite as elegant as the fitted ones coming out now, at least I found mine!

Knee pads...

When you know your gona get yourself into some rough stuff I suggest you protect yourself by wearing the right gear. Clothing itself is a way to protect our bodies from the cold at times, goggles from the sand storms or snow, the right shoes will get you places, you catch my drift... Well this post is about knee pads bc I'm craving a pair! Inspired by Juliette Lewis herself she is one stylish performer who gets wild on stage and wears knee pads to do what she does best Rock On! I have also included a more delicate form of "knee pad" which are pieces of lace like stalking over the knee in a previous Vanessa Bruno runway collection. Dont the models look like they are ready for ANYTHING with them on? Thats what I'm going for! I want to wear knee pads to get wild in the dessert but this is how the trend translates over to the fall season in an extra cool way. Layer them over tights and your ready to hit the town.

Christopher Kane bag!

http://www.thebaglady.tv/2011/02/christopher_kan_4.html

Its all about this bag! Reminds me of having a sticker book as a kid and having those "oily stickers" they were the best. Before that I used to collect really pretty stationary paper in Spain... we would trade pieces of pretty paper instead of trade stickers,,, back in the day. Christopher Kane has always surprised me with his unique sense. I forecasted "oil" looking things to come about bc of the oil spill in the gulf... Chanel had a nail polish color that resembled the irridecent grey tones with metallic greens and purples accented in the shine. I was inspired by the colors and texture of oil but nobody would have done it better than this!!! I want one and i dont even care if it pops all over my white dress and its in a video ;) bahahahahaha...

Strolling through Refinery29 website...

The most interesting things I found.
in order of pictures...
1. A conversational sweater like this makes anybody's fall day into a fun one for everybody you cross on the street!
2. What I love about this look is the silhouette, the light-weight ironed shirt with a cropped sleeve instead of the usual rolled up sleeves. The mini skirt makes it feminine. The flats make it french and so relaxed I could get a lot done without braking a sweat and def noticed by your boss ;)
3. Marc Jacobs printed perfectly tailored pants look like a lot of fun to me, the baroque print makes them a real show stopper and I would pair them super easy n plain like a soft tshirt and scarf bc on their own they yell style.
4. This shape is so interesting as a vest! I'm trying to think if I have a coat I can cut the sleeves off just to recreate it... I think its super innovative and looks pretty simple to wear like it goes over anything to make an outfit look sleek so its not too heavy and wintery/coat-like.
5. These long skirts are great to see since when I wear a long skirt all I wana do it pull up the front part lol I'm thinking taking the long ones and trying the style tuck in the panties or pin to the inside of the skirt at hip line.

A lot of what I am showing is inspiring to recreate by cutting a sleeve here or altering something there... So many clothes are at our local thrift and vintage shops or in our closets. But what we should have in mind is what shapes are in and how to wear them... these images give me plenty to have in mind. Remember that what you wear is a reflection of who you are what you feel and nothing should be forced... all these are appropriate for most occasions and can be more or less dressed up and made more elegant with colors or accessories especially hair-do and make-up. I am seeing that they are all wearable, versatile pieces to add to my expanding yet minimizing closet.

Java 2 from Topshop wedge shoe...

I want these Topshop shoes! They have a similar pair that is much higher wedge but I prefer this height! Unfortunately, they sold out online but I found a pair in a store and they wont take the CC over the phone so I have to go to that town in Ireland! so annoying. so I might get a relative to go these bc they are on hold for me :( (pls) They are called the Java 2 and I need them in a UK size 5 or a USA size 7.5 I think they are really dope to wear with tights or socks and I would get them in any other color if they had them! They would be extra cute in glittery gold thread haha or print like stripes :) just dreamin'... xoxo

Fish Pedicures? OMG

http://www.zimbio.com/Fish+Pedicures/articles/14/Fish+Pedicures+Illegal+14+States

http://www.targetwoman.com/articles/fish-pedicure.html

Yes, first time for me too... they actually have fish that suck off the dead skin off your feet in a pedicure! Controvercial of course, it is illegal in some states, no wonder i havent seen this in Miami. I'd like to try it, yes im guilty for it bc in reality i think that this is wrong to the poor animals starved they only eat dead skin off our feet. supposedly it feels like tickles...
Ive seen them available here in Ireland and apparently in the UK too. Whats next? a tiger licking facial? LOL
