Well this website should inspire you tremendously!
I was one of "those people" who took forever to get over that someone and I really regret spending so much time and energy somewhere so damn ugly! I was in a downwards spiral with my negative thoughts and it all just got deeper and uglier from there. It can really take forever for you to get over someone you cared about and you can beat yourself up for things til your a soggy mess!!! The trick is to stay busy and focused on what you LOVE. (forget the guy, your gona look back and think wtf did i ever see in him!?). Depression is contagious so staying stuck on some soap opera is gona make your friends want to do other things with others and leave you to "get over it" on your own. Your really the only one who can get yourself back on your feet. Focusing on the positives and staying happy are the most important things IN LIFE! If nothing works (not even putting salt in the corners) then here is something you can try!!!!>>>>>.....

its a site where you can actually fool yourself into thinking this person is dead! What you do is write a fake obituary! How freaking relieving! Now you have a plan for when the next jerk cheats on you! GENIUS.

A true story...
Yesterday afternoon I went to the beach. Well, the beach they have on a lake by where Im staying in upstate NY... not technically South Beach or anything. As the day was beginning to end I noticed a little boy getting to the beach with his grandma. He was a blue eyed 3yrold boy named Brandon.
As he had gotten out of the car and excitedly walking towards the sand I witnessed him fall on the pebbly concrete on both hands and knees and pause... while making eye contact with me. I expected this little boy to start crying for at least a couple mins the way other kids his age would do but instead he got up and yelled out to me (someone he had never met)...
"I'm OK!, I just tripped!"
as he brushed his knees off with a big smile:) then skipped on with his direction to the lake with his grandma laughing behind. It was the cutest thing EVER!
This may be a really silly story to you but as adults we can learn from this cute little kid and deal with things like Brandon did.
It's really the way the boy said what he said that shocked me the most... so boldly, positive and honest!
I<3 Brandon!

Reflections...
My photography style at the moment is in finding reflections... It came from a summer ago in Barcelona when I first learned about M.C. Escher... I am completely enthralled with his work! He has inspired me to play with peoples minds and perspectives. He is my all time favorite artist.
Here is a link to his work... http://www.mcescher.com/
and below are some of my reflective photographs recently taken in Saratoga NY...

VENT
My dead skin bleeds the words out my pores. i am alone and everything moves through me like a trasparent ghost. I wander on n spit the fears you send. I lie heavily on a bed of gravel each stone a fight and Im dead as can be. the wind sweeps over me extending my joints and i grow new talents and skin. i get up again, walk along the diving board look up and see the clouds fall on my face like moist cotton candy tht melts when it touches. i smile and feel the stretch, my arms elongate by my ears. i leap down a slow motion fall my face crashes onto water, the cold numbs my limbs and i slowly float up for air, i fill my lungs. i am alive.
