My trip to FIJI...

Lots been going on lately. First of all I just got back from a 3 week excursion in Fiji with my mother where we did a "Life" seminar for about 5 days. We fasted and only drank shots of Udo's oil and nasty vegetable concoctions that literally had me gagging by the 2nd day. We learned a lot about how to eat, what to eat, what is toxic for your body etc for example did you know that you shouldnt mix fruits and vegetables in your body? like, I used to eat salad with chopped up green apples and walnuts over spinach and thats a no no according to these food gurus I visited. After the fast we started eating only raw live foods and I could only take that for a little longer before I was gona go ahead and shoot myself!! We also did a "Wealth" seminar where I learned all about stocks and bonds and investing etc so now I can actually read a stock graph and can talk about money, before this I'd just shut down at the thought. The best part was visiting a village in Fiji where the real locals lived and welcomed us into their home to eat a meal. A fish they caught, and the veggies they grew in their garden nothing more nothing less than pure generosity at its purest form. There I was able to take some impressive pictures of the people especially the children that I'd like to share with you...

  1. Hey Its Finn;

    This post made me miss Fiji so badly. I was there a while back, 1999, for about 3 months. Needless to say, it was incredible. I had left my job in NYC and took off to the Pacific for several months. I have always dreamt of cruising the world's oceans on boat. Unfortunately, I didn't get there by boat but got there nonetheless.
    Spent lots of time in the Yasawa Islands, Viti Levu and Taveuni. The people, the places, the lessons were so impressionable.
    Your shots of the kids are really great! Would love to hear more about your experience some time.
    Did you get a chance to see other archipelagos? I was lucky enough to make extended stops in Kingdom of Tonga and Samoa(not American Samoa) as well.
    Just thought I'd share....
