I'm in Ireland!

I saw this quote written on a poster in a cafe...

"Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar", every "supreme leader", every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there-on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.

The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds.

Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the Universe, are challenged by this point of pale light. Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves.

The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment the Earth is where we make our stand.

It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known." Carl Sagan

Our turn.

"it's my turn, I think your like that
It's my turn, but sometimes I think u look like a cat
It's my turn, you make my eyes bat
It's my turn, their is no one who can sing happy birthday like that.
Yes one can!
It's my turn, tell me how does it go?
It's your turn, to tell me, its our turn, together we glow.

-this is a poem Paul and I wrote playing around together where I started the first line and then he said the next etc. Together we went on our own missions to post it separately on our blogs but when I re-read it I changed it without him knowing. If you want to see his draft it's slightly different only in the last line. That was the one where we kept rewriting to make it just right. I hope you will get the urge to click here http://www.peoplefromvenus.com/our-turn

RIP AMY WINEHOUSE ode to cat-eye...

The cat-eye sunglasses trend has been going hard and I cant help but say that we should all get a pair and remember Amy Winehouse while wearing them. Her buffant 'do and red lips and eyeliner Rockabilly style can be found here. RIP to one of the most inspiration women in music of my time. I will never forget you and your lyrics and groove will transmit through fashion and you will never ever get old.

I saw this at the LAX baggage claim.

#LA bound

Looking for an apartment. I guess I like the Arts District in downtown because it's growing and getting really gentrified. I love the street art, the galleries, cafe's, the people even. It's a bike ride away from Art walk LA. I'm really excited about this change I just really want to find a job! :P
Wish me luck!!

Channeling...

Carmen Kass photoshoot...

The poses, the styling, the hair, the simplicity, the effortlessly chic vibe... Carmen Kass knows exactly what she is doing. AMAZING TEAM WORK.

Carven Resort...

By Carven Resort. I chose the looks with print on them... Ive been trending that and its appearing everywhere. I want my own line which is basically wearable photography of mine. The prices must be going down for the process bc I even saw it at Forever 21 the other day... a take on Pugh with the gorilla face... similar now sold at Forever! I will look for that too to show. In this collection I LOVED the map print bc I can see the excuse to run your finger down a road LOL... something subtly sexy about that. I also see the bows on the backs of shoes trending. You can make your own too! make a bow and glue gun and sew it on a pair of heels! brings attention to the ankle, adorable.

T.H.R.I.V.E. Healthy Raw Vegan Experience...

Went to the most amazing place for lunch today! A real hidden gem in South Beach after I read about where to have the Best salad and smoothie in a garden atmosphere on my "Best of..." app! It was so amazing that I literally told my boyfriend we are only eating there and home lol. I felt so much energy after having a coconut, papaya, acai smoothie and a potobello mushroom pizza with a side salad. I had ordered the cabbage tacos instead but either way it was delicious. Of course I shared all that w Paul. :) This Devine quaint little place is tucked behind the crevice of a garden where they sell plants, a narrow open air hallway leading to a huge patio with little angel statues and such where they have yoga studios and colonix or a massage parlor. Literally in Love because one day I want a place like this! A health food place with so much more to offer! Wednesday's between 12-7pm an organic Farmers Market! Sunday brunch, detox and healing cleanses, private chef services, catering and special events, frequent diners club, natural hi-happy hour, weekly yoga schedule, arts & crafts, educational lectures, cinema night, vibrant kids lunchbox, community center, super foods store, gourmet spa menu!

Summer is Here...

Make sexy Art!

http://www.ahalife.com/archive/product/297/love-abstract-art-kit/

Best present ever! Haven't you always wanted to have a sexy paint masterpiece with your partner? Here it is! Don't know what to buy a creative couple? They have probably already thought of this since they are creative but this allows them to create a masterpiece and later expand their horizons with the ideas that will follow ;) this makes me feel like I want every painting I make from now on to be a unique performance art/ private moment with a memory to put on the wall that follows.
